1. We have been trying to teach modesty in our home. I guess I have been going about it all wrong. The other day Mae was getting out of the pool at my mom's house and my sister-in-law, Karen, was helping her change back into her clothes. As soon as Mae's swimsuit was off, she started running around shakin' her buns and chanting "chika wow wow" (from Alvin and the Chipmunks - if you know what I'm talking about). Karen told her to get her clothes on because she wasn't modest and Mae responded by putting her hands over her shoulders and said "Now I am." Completely naked, but her shoulders were covered. I've done a great job:)
2. I was informed by Mae's nursery leader that they were having a lesson on prayer. They told all the children to fold their arms and bow their heads. I guess a bunch of the children didn't know what they meant by bowing their heads so the nursery leader told them to look at the floor. As soon as all their heads were bowed, she then told them to close their eyes. Mae shouted, "Sister Ashley, I can't see the floor anymore!"
3. I can't really describe this story well, but I just need to write it down so I don't forget how funny it was. Mae has a very large mouth and basically shoves as much food in as she can in one bite. So you can imagine the open mouthed chewing that is required. Well, one night we were sitting down for dinner and Mae took a bite of food, and with much effort, started chewing with her mouth completely CLOSED and said "Look, I'm eating like Mommy."

LOL...That is so funny!!! All 3 comments from that sweet little girl. I do have to say that my favorite is the chewing with her mouth shut comment. Kids are so dang observant!
Mae is so funny! She'll be glad you recorded all those moments when she's older. So when are you due again? Have you decided on a name??
