My girls have been obsessed with having mermaid dress ups. So...we went to the fabric store and this is what I came up with. I know they look a bit like spaceaged flapper dresses, but Grace and Mae think they are the coolest mermaid costumes ever. I just hope they last until Halloween. They are getting tattered quickly due to all the the scooting "swimming" on the tile floor.
We had a great Little Mermaid II party when the movie came out. They got all dressed up, popped some popcorn, and watched the movie. I love being home with my kids to enjoy the simple pleasures of life with them.

Oh, those are so cute. My girls would love those. We just have one real mermaid costume, but my girls would like the matching green ones more. I am so impressed that you coudl make that. You are such a cute mom!
