Mae's 4th Birthday!!!
Mae is perhaps the cutest birthday girl ever. The day started well, until she saw the cake that I stayed up until midnight to finish. It obviously did not compare with the $100 cake she had been wanting from the store for months. Once her friends approved of my homemade cake, she changed her opinion and thanked me for it.
After many of her birthday festivities (a very fun, busy day), Mae came with me to pick up pizza for dinner. I asked her what her favorite part of her birthday was and she thought for a minute and then snapped her fingers and said "I've got it! Right now!" Wow, simple pleasures. I need to remember that "one on one" time is so valuable.
