August 2009

Lake trips (thanks Binghams and Marriotts!)
Yes - that's me. Alan didn't know I could wake board. That was the first time I had wake boarded since we got married. I suprised myself. Just like riding a bike :)

Mae and Mommy

Gracie and Daddy

Cute Mae Mae getting comfy in her lazy boy and lake shoes.

Lemonade stands... Gracie wanted the lemonade to be free. Alan said she was just following Obama's example.

Ballet Buddies (Haylee, Gracie, and Bekah)

Bath buddies

Crazy Claire!!! She's into everything!!!
Claire thought she was skinnier than she is. Look at that CHUB!Claire and GrandmamaGracie's first day of kindergarten. I couldn't wait for that bus to show up at our doorstep. Yes - door to door delivery. It's AWESOME! We were drilling her with questions about her first day of school and all she could talk about was the bus ride home. She goes to half day kindergarten so there are only three kids on her bus: Grace, her cousin, Sadie, and her friend Annalise. Gracie ended up making a seating chart for the bus which she took time to mark everyday in order to solve the drama of whom sits by whom. Too cute!

Mae needed to act out a first day of school picture too :)
Saide and Gracie Soelberg

I had Gracie take this picture of me.
So, I was making dinner for my friend who just had a baby. She called to say that her husband was on his way home from work and that he could come by my house to pick up the meal instead of me having to pack my three girls in the car to take it to them. I thought that sounded GREAT! I was frantically trying to get the dinner ready so he wouldn't have to wait on me once he arrived. Well, the door bell rang and right at that moment, I somehow dropped the big tub of sourcream with the lid off. The container landed on the floor and the sourcream splashed all over me. It was covering my face. I had it on my ears and in my hair. Gracie had to get me a paper towel because I couldn't open my eyes. That's how I looked when I opened the door to give him their dinner. I was SO embarrassed!!!

Is that you wake boarding? I told Garrett I wanted to learn how during my last year in my 20's. Too bad I am going to be pregnant most of the year! HA. Did you move? Ready for baby #4 yet? I haven't talked to you in ages!

Holy Guacamole the Soultrains are back! I'm SOOOO happy I got to see updated pictures of the girls. It makes me excited to think I might be getting a 3rd girl (I'm due in November). You're girls truly are beautiful!! If you don't laugh at yourself (the sour cream) you'd cry. Laughing is a lot more fun. Keep posting so I can see that cute family. Tell Al HI!
