Mae pooped out on the sand. This was our last day at the beach so we let her sleep out there while we packed up all our stuff to head home.

Boston Sisters Retreat
For Janalee's 30th birthday, all the girls went on a trip to Boston because Janalee used to live there. There were 12 of us - 9 sisters, 2 sisters-in-law, and Mom Soelberg. The list would probably be shorter if I listed things we didn't do. You name it, we did it (or saw it). Boston is just BEAUTFUL with so much history.
I lived in Boston when I was really little while my dad was in dental school and I went to kindergarten there. So it was neat to be back there. Being at the Boston Common took me right back to my childhood. I think that's why I like willow trees so much. It's a beautiful park right in the middle of down town. My mom used to take me there and we would ride on the swan boats and feed the ducks. I wish I could take my girls there.
We ate lots of yummy food, including clam chowda in quincy market, walked the freedom trail, hiked Bunker Hill Monument (in my platform - thank you very much :) shopped, went to the temple, rode the subway, went to a red socks game, didn't get enough sleep (because we went by Arizona time at night and Boston time in the morning), and took way too many pictures of everything!

Looks like lots of fun! It makes me want to go to Boston (and the beach). Nolan was born there (Boston, not the beach) and we must make a pilgrimage! Cute blog, you're kids are beautiful (Sorry, you are too and Alan)!
I meant YOUR, not YOU'RE. Darn it. I should be able to change that. Grrr... blogger! Do you like how I blame the computer rather that myself? I didn't spell that wrong, the computer did!
you guys should be a cracker jack commercial or something... looks like this trip was so much fun!
Wow you posted a lot. GO YOU! Love all the pics! Looks like you guys had a fun filled summer!
Sooo I'm getting on our little Nebraska group of friends. I have no idea what you are doing and you know that is the reason I blog. So make a post and let us know what you've been up to...we miss the soul trains. We really ought to plan a trip somewhere and all meet up :)
When I look at this pictures it just makes me want to be there. You girls had so much fun. I wanna go on a girls' trip with you!!
