April

April Fools Day

I don't have any pictures from this day, but April Fools Day is one of my favorite Holidays. Is it even considered a Holiday? Anyway, it's one of my favorite days of the year. I just like pranks. I thought it would be REALLY funny to tell my kids on the way home from preschool that we had to get shots that day. We pass our doctor's office on the way home, so I thought it would be the perfect prank. I thought they would be super relieved when I yelled "April Fools" after pulling into the doctor's parking lot. Little did I know, I would be wiping tears for an hour and suffering from glares of death by my 4 year old! Whoops. Don't try that one at home!!! For dinner I got a great idea from my friend, and I made meatloaf muffins with mashed potatoes on top. After adding a little red food coloring to the mashed potatoes, they looked like perfect little pink frosted cupcakes. My kids were SOOO excited when I brought them to the table for dinner. Once again, after one bite, I got the glares. They can dish it, but they can't take it. They had a blast filling Alan's Oreos with toothpaste and dumping loads of salt in his water at dinner. I also got Alexis pretty good that day. I told her we were moving back to Omaha. I kept going with my story until she started crying. Then I reminded her what day it was...

Easter Time!

These pictures were taken at Red Mountain park where the annual Ray Easter egg hunt and breakfast is held.

Nielson Benefit Concert

I had the opportunity of singing for the Nielson benefit concert along with American Idol's, Brooke White. The Nielsons are a family from mesa and the parents were in a terrible plane crash. The money made from the concert went to them. Her blog is inspiring and heart wrenching. http://www.nieniedialogues.blogspot.com/

Let's Play Music Recital & Mrs. Rita's Preschool Performance

Grace is in Let's Play Music, a program my sister-in-law created. It's amazing. I can't believe everything Grace is learning. Janalee was her teacher this year. THANKS JANA!!!

She also had her preschool performance. I can't believe everything she is learning there too!!! Thank goodness for wonderful teachers. They learned how to read and everything was centered around a book of Mormon curriculum. They even went on a field trip to the temple. THANKS MRS. RITA!!!
