Our friends, Dan and Marie Skinner, invited us and the Minors, to their timeshare in Mexico. It is just outside of Rocky Point. It was my first experience there, and my oh my, was it GLORIOUS! It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! And thanks to all the crime, we were the only people on the entire beach :) Seriously, we saw like 8 people the whole time we were there.
We had this entire house to ourselves. I'm tellin' you - it was a great trip! Thanks for inviting us, Skinners!!!

Saint Patrick's DayWe had an embarrassing moment on a few different levels involving Saint Patrick's Day. So, like the wonderful mother that I am, I woke up and made green pancakes and green milk and all that good stuff for breakfast. I dressed the girls in their matching green dresses, wrote a note for grace on her napkin in green marker, put green jelly beans in her sack lunch and sent her to pre-school with Alan. A few minutes later, Alan called and said, are you sure it's Saint Patrick's Day? Nobody else is dressed in green. I check the calendar and felt my face turn red immediately. I was a week EARLY! (wow, I was early with something:) Well, Alan didn't have the heart to tell Gracie, so she went right up to her teacher, pinched her, and then said, I kept pinching my mom this morning because she was just wearing her garments.

I can't believe you made a post!! A miracle! Mal and I have our first big trip planned to Mexico in Feb. but we are ditching the kids hahaha...it will be our first time away without them and we're going with 5 couples. We can't wait! I have been dying to see Claire. She is beautiful! Glad to see you're alive and well.

I am surprised (in a good way) to see that you posted! It's been a while. And therefore...Claire has changed a LOT. What a cutie! I'm so glad you had a fun family trip. So lucky to get that much privacy on the beach!

Ok--seriously? How FUN!!! I have to say, you are brave to go there during all the craziness! but I'm so glad you had a great time and were safe! Love the polkadot dresses--I got the same ones for my girls! So cute!
