Christmas Eves

We celebrated Christmas Eve twice this year - but not both on Christmas Eve. We used to try to do everything with both families, but it's too hard with 3 children. My parents celebrated Christmas Eve on the Sunday before Christmas because my married siblings were going to be out of town with in-laws for Christmas. We always have a dinner, act out the nativity, perform our musical numbers and open pajamas.

Of course we had two Marys this year, which means we had two baby Jesus', which means both babies couldn't fit in the manger very well, which means we had two crying Marys.

Grandma Walker singing Jesus Bambino.

We went to Soelberg's house for the real Christmas Eve. They always have soup and Secret Pals. That's when you draw names, keep it a secret, and make a present for your secret pal. It is always a lot of fun. It's so fun to see what everyone came up with. It also makes the presents very meaningful.

I'm waiting for more pictures from family members. I'll post them when I get them.

LOVE that description of two Mary's, two baby Jesus', etc. In a couple years you'll have THREE!! But I'm sure they'll be all grown up and mature by then. I can't stop looking at Grace's beauty and hearing Grandma Walker singing--I miss her :-) Fun December

Erica! It was so fun to see your blog! I'm bummed that we didn't get to see you this holiday season. Maybe next time. You're the greatest!
