So, I'm ready. I've cleaned my house, decorated the rooms, gone grocery shopping, and now I'm just waiting. I'm just hoping I don't have to wait long enough to have to do everything all over again. Here's what I've been up to...
We moved the girls into the other bedroom, which wasn't an easy task. Grace was VERY attached to her toddler bed. Every time I mentioned moving into the "princess" room, she would flop on her little bed and get all choked up. I was choking up with her. I'm not very good with change, and I guess I have passed on my sentimentleness to her. Here they are paying their last adieus to their nursery...
The people who owned the house before us had these darling brown squares from floor to ceiling for their boy's room. We decided to make that Grace and Mae's grown up room since we had already decorated the nursery. The brown squares just weren't very feminine, so we painted the bottom half pink and put rhinestones where the brown corners meet. Now it looks girly. I didn't make the bedding - (thanks target!) But I made most of the pillows and the curtains. p.s. Mae sleeps on the trundle bed. She thinks it's pretty cool.

I told the girls that they each have their own special shelf where they can put their special things. Everyday Grace piles things on her shelf. It's so cute what they treasure.
Here is the nursery - just awaiting a baby. We took down the toddler bed and got a changing table so we had to rearrange things a little. Thanks, Alexis, for your help! I also finally picked up the print of Grace and Mae and I praying. An artist, named Mitch Johnson, painted it of us about two years ago. For payment, he framed a huge print for us. I couldn't think of better payment. The prints are now being sold at Deseret Book.
